A student is suspended for speaking about God, his faith, and bringing his bible to school.
We should all see this as a sign that this is one of the MOST important times to share our faith with those around us and act in a manner that is pleasing to God. I’m scared of where our country might be headed. This is a clear and blatant act of oppression against a Christian. May God give him the strength to continue to spread His good word and not be bullied by those who want to shut him up.

The school is going to lose this case, I guarantee it. And why? Precedent. The ACLU (yes, the ACLU) has filed lawsuits on behalf of Christian students and won many times, under similar circumstances. See: ACLU Fights For Christians
And I can’t even begin to sift out all the cases the ACLJ (American Center for Law & Justice) has taken up and won on behalf of Christians.
It started with science, but it has spread to academia as a whole. A belief in God is to be backwards, ignorant, and generally stupid. Scientists have been fired for questioning Darwinism, for crying out loud.
There is no academic freedom anymore. It’s not even a fleeting shadow; it simply doesn’t exist. And, sadly, as this case illustrates, ideologues in the public school system are now trying to chip away at personal freedoms, like freedom of religion.
This is what we are up against today. Academic freedom has succumbed to liberalism. Now, perhaps, the First Amendment.
